God, Country, and Family
Just my 2 Cents Worth
As I look around today, I see a world in trouble, especially our own country.
When I ponder the problems we have, teen pregnancy, suicides, drug deaths, kids shooting kids, it makes me think about why we are in this situation. Here are my thoughts:
1. Taking God out of our everyday lives has been the #1 cause of our behavior problems.
Without Him and the morality He gave us, we have no direction in which to turn.
2. Parents choosing a career over taking care of their own kids. (I am not talking about single parents who have no choice.)
If mothers would stay at home and nurture their children, they stand a better chance of making the right choices, especially if Mom leads them into the right ones from the beginning.
3. Not allowing schools to “discipline” children.
Our children need guidelines and boundaries to know that they can go this far… and NO farther. This goes for home and well as other places, especially school.
These are the main causes of our problems today. It has nothing to do with money or the lack there of. We have lost our sense of family.
There is a solution out there, if you have the time and inclination to look. It is called the Re-inhabited Republic.
It will take time, and lots of effort on all our parts to get back to a good and moral society. Are you willing to try? I know I am.
